Albert Weber founded the Weber Piano Company in New York in 1852. The company produced square grand, upright, and grand pianos throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Aeolian acquired the brand in 1903, and it remained under various corporate umbrellas until becoming part of the Aeolian-American Corporation. Since 1986, the Weber name has been owned by Young Chang, with manufacturing occurring in Korea and China.
