Ludwig & Co. pianos were manufactured by the company of the same name, founded in New York in 1889 by John H. Ludwig and Charles A. Ericsson. They were renowned for high-quality, decorative uprights and player pianos during the “Golden Age” of American piano manufacturing (1895–1920), before later being acquired by Atlas Piano Company in 1952.
